Ben Marks

MARKS, Ben – Peacefully on Wednesday, March 1st, 2017 at Humber River Hospital. Ben Marks, beloved father of Brad (Pauline) Marks, Ellise (Fred) Benitah, and Stephen Marks. Cherished Zaidy of Josh, Max, Raquel, Brodie, Matthew, Cara, Samantha, and Justin. He will be sadly missed by his extended family and devoted friends. A funeral service will be taking place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 2nd at Steeles Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Pardes Shalom Cemetery on Dufferin St. just north of Teston Rd.

Dear Brad Ellise and Stephen; I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your father Ben. Of course it goes without saying that we all go way back to our Dublin PS days running around Alexis and McCallister (completely unsupervised). Brad you have been my friend for longer than anyone else and I wish that I could be there for you during the Shiva. I have very fond memories of hanging out at your house (my house didn't have great snacks (unless you liked granola)). We use to frustrate your dad day and night horsing around, carry on, and being extremely loud. I would not change any of it for all the tea in China!. I am glad that we have kept in touch despite the years and distance. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.
