To the Nightingale family: My sincere condolences on the loss of your mother and grandmother. In the short time that I knew her, I realized that Eva was a woman of strength and courage. To the family of Eva : I am so sorry to learn of your dear mothers ' passing. She was a very sweet woman , whom I met at the Garnet pool, many years back. I gave her a lift home when your father, zL was unable. We used to speak on the phone often before holidays. My thoughts and prayers are with the family, at this most difficult time , even harder because of It being a chag. I am presently out of town for Pesach , but will hopefully come to the shiva when I return. I regret not being at the funeral.
