Our family has many precious memories of lstening intently while Josh shared stories of his many adventures. We so admired his courage, humour and the love he felt toward his parents and siblings. We were honoured to have met his parents and most of his siblings and we send them love at this difficult time.

I met Josh when he helped me move at 3 different locations. He was such a friendly and helpful person. My son had him work with him on the Toronto Eruv and really appreciated his work and help. It is a tragedy to lose a young life, always. We cannot judge the ways of Hashem and must trust that this was Josh's destiny.

To the Family of Josh Rogers, of blessed memory. I was so very saddened to hear of Josh's passing...it is indeed a tragedy. I didn't know him well but the times that I did see him and chat...he was always so personable and polite. I just saw him at a friend's Shabbat table, a couple of months ago and he was back from Israel and looking for a job. I remember also meeting his brother Ruben when they lived together and met them at a Shabbat dinner at Shelborne and also had the pleasure of meeting his two sisters...lovely young women and they seemed so respectful of our Jewish traditions. His Neshama (soul) will always be here for you, his loved ones and he will find the peace he sought in Gan Eden and may your memories of him sustain you for all time. May his Neshama have an aliyah in Shomayim. If I had known earlier, I would definitely had been present at the funeral but I only just found out a couple of days ago. He was a lovely young man and certainly those in our community that met him all had wonderful thoughts about him and we join you, his family in mourning his loss.
