So sorry to hear about Maxine. I met her when I worked for Alan Newton Real estate back in the 1980's. My condolences to her family. She was a beautiful woman with a beautiful smile and much too young to leave this world.
I will always treasure my time with you. This "sweet princess" has made a positive difference in many of our lives. We will always picture her as that energetic unselfish woman with the giant smiling face on the many transit benches in our neighbourhood. She took her politics and community development issues very seriously and many have heard her roar against injustice. , This devoted mother and sister who helped these women get a better life has had her return this many times over. Like the biblical Sarah she invited "strangers' sans family to join her "family" suppers on Jewish holidays. She was a welcoming, considerate and caring,
person She faced her final health crisis bravely and resolutely as she faced all challenges.
She will be sadly missed by many in our community. RIP, our "princess or Malka", your good deeds will outlive you.
Send a donation in your loved one’s name and benefit a great cause in their honour.
Message of Condolence
