| Abram Issac (Alan) Streiman born November 15, 1921 in Radom Poland. He was
a gentle and wise patriarch, cherished by his adoring family.
They will proudly wear his fierce love of family and Judaism forever. He passed away at age 91 surrounded by his devoted family. A survivor of the Holocaust, he leaves his wife of 62 years, Ita, the most beautiful woman in shul, and his children Fred (Randi), Esther, his 5 grandchildren Miriam (Neil) , Rebecca & Alanna Streiman and Jeremy &
Ashley Blustein. Brother in law to Abe & Ella Rutman, and Salek & Miriam Rutman. Predeceased by his precious son, Mark, and by his “brother” Jacob Rosenzweig & wife Haichew. Successful businessman and lifelong partner of Meyer Sankiewicz. Our deepest thanks to our father's devoted caregiver Juliet Molina. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Ave. West, Thornhill. Interment to follow at Dawes Road Cemetery, Beth Radom section. | Florence Devore, on May 12, 2013, at the age of 98. Predeceased by her
beloved husband Sam and brother Syd. Much loved mother of Linda and Eric
(Christine). Devoted grandmother of Deanna. Dear sister of Gloria Barris and
Norma Mamott. She lived a long, happy, healthy life, surrounded by a loving
family and lifelong friends. She enjoyed a long, successful career as a
kindergarten teacher with the Toronto District School Board, and played the
piano for Baycrest residents into her 90s. Many thanks to the staff at
L'Chaim Retirement Homes for the outstanding, loving care she received there
