WEINAPPLE, Dorothy – On Wednesday October 25, 2017 in her 92nd year. Dorothy Weinapple, beloved wife of the late Sam Weinapple. Step-mother to Shelly, and Nathan. Dear sister of Helen, and Bernie and the late Archie Grumet. Cherished Bubbie to Melanie and Arie, Jordan and Jennifer, and Andrew. Proud great-bubbie to Brandon, Maddie, Benjamin, Ely, and Eden. A special thank you to her caregiver Rose, for her years of dedication. She will be sadly missed by all. I loved her very much. She was a wonderful daughter to her parents and a very special person to all of her family and friends. A very special bubbie to Jennifer & Melanie. She always felt blessed to have them as grandchildren and she attributed her longevity to their loving care for her. May she rest in peace with her darling Sam.

Stan Schwartz

Whenever Helen and Aaron would come to town with Steve & Jerry, we'd always wind up spending time on Yarmouth and, in the process, getting to know Dorothy, Archie & Bernie and their parents. Living behind a variety store was the extra special attraction and in later years, when Dorothy & my mom became alot closer, she'd often be sitting at Blanche & Toots' shabbos table along with my family and I. Those were opportunities to reminisce and I loved listening to Dorothy talk about her days working downtown. In fact, I always liked Dorothy because she was infectiously exhuberant, and I'm going to miss that
