Isaac ( Jack ) Landsberg, peacefully on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at his home. Beloved husband of the late Toby Landsberg. Loving father and father-in-law of Esther and John Marmora, Freda Landsberg and Richard Seecharan, Michael and Nancy Landsberg, and the late Helen James. Cherished Zaida of Jessica, Michael, Sarah, Emma, and Samantha. Special thanks to the Oncology staff at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. My heartfelt condolences to the family I have spent most of my younger years in the Landsberg home and I have the fondest memories of your parents Freda. Your parents were always welcoming into their loving home. Your caring mom was always smiling and your father had a sincere sweet soul with a strong mind. It was recent that I heard your dad's stories of how he survived the Holocaust and his bravery. I have so much admiration for him. You were truly blessed to have such amazing parents. May the memories you created give you strength at this time. May you take pride in being such a wonderful, loving daughter too. You are all a loving family.

We are so sad to hear of the loss of your loving father and grandfather. He was always such a pleasant kind man. I have such fond memories growing up on Lynn Haven having the Landsberg family as our neighbours and good friends. Wishing all of you good health and strength to get through this most difficult time. Hoping the happy memories help ease the pain.

Freda and family, I am so sorry for your great loss. I spent a large part of my childhood at your home and around your parents and have many great memories. Your dad was very quiet but had a calm gentleness around him. My heart goes out to all of you.

For almost thirty years I watched your father from my vantage point across the street on Verwood as he worked steadily and methodically in his garage producing cabinets and shelves and all manner of woodwork. Each day he would then load the van and go off to attend to his customers. I believe most of the work he did was for free for friends. He loved his work so much and he loved his family. The garage hasn't been opened for a while but you'll find a treasure inside. Cherish the memory of a loving father and zaida and all the fun garage sales over the years with mom and Helen followed by party-sized pizza. Jeff & Gayle
