Loving mother and mother-in-law of Chaya and Patrick Erlich, and Eli Cooperberg and Joanna Mansfield. Adored daughter of Esther and the late Chanoch Scyzoryk. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Susie and Eli Armon, Lily and Alter Yachnes, and Ruthi and David Lipener. Cherished Savta of Yael, Shayna, Zev, Nathan, Jordan, Sienna, and Jacob. May you find comfort among the mourners of Zion and Yerushalim. May her Neshama have an Aliyah in Shomayim. Janet was always sweet, smiling and caring in the short time I knew her. Always proud of her children and grandchildren and had much Nachus from all of you.

Chaya and Elie-Very sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. I only have fond memories of her warmth and sparkling eyes. No doubt she will be missed. I wish you much comfort in fond warm memories. (Am overseas for a few mor weeks and regret I won’t be able to make it to pay a shiva visit)

Ruthie and family: I was saddened to learn of Janet's passing. I know it has been a very difficult time for all of those who loved your sister. I had met her once at Mt. Sinai Hospital with Aaron....he introduced me to her. I told her then that I had been davening for her for some time as I knew her sister Ruthie. She seemed like a sweet and lovely lady as you had described her to me years ago at Soby's and on the telephone before your aliyah. I don't know if you are in from Israel but I would like to be in touch with you. My heart is full of great sympathy for you and your family and most especially, Janet's children and grandchildren. May those who mourn Janet of blessed memory be comforted with all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and know no more sorrow. I was deeply saddened today when I found out about the passing of my friend, Janet Cooperberg. I first met her at The Finch Associated High Holiday services many years ago. We enjoyed each other's company and met many times for coffee. Janet was not only strikingly beautiful on the outside but she also had a sweetness and gentleness about her. I remember how proud she was as she told me about the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. Janet spoke about her illness and she was determined to overcome it. We were Facebook "friends" and several times I wrote her directly, asking her to tell me when would be a good time to meet her again for coffee. I'm so sorry I did not get the opportunity to do so. My deep condolences to the family!
