Baum, Joseph, It is with profound sorrow we announce the passing of our father Joseph on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. A man of courage, profound dignity and great love of family. He lived a long happy life initially marked with great difficulty. He and our late mother Bronia survived the second world war having lost their parents and most of their siblings. They eventually moved to Canada, a land that they loved of which they found peace through hard work and great sacrfice were able to raise their family in comfortable circumstances. It is to him and our mother that we give thanks to all that we were able to accomplish. Not unlike Moses, our father lived his life fully, birthday to birthday, today would have been his 98th. May our father and all of the rightous souls accend to their Maker. We Bernard, Harry and Allan, and our spouses Sahri, Lonia and Neseh are left with cherished memories and a wonderful role model to emulate. Loving grandfather of Rebecca and Doron, Matthew and Natalie, Tamara, Jason and Angus, Michael and Adrienne, David and Catherin, Brandon, Geoffrey, and Sara Leah. Great grandfather of Zoe and Noa. Dear uncle and cousin of many. With thanks and appreciation to all our father caregivers.
