Dear Ouanounou Family, I don’t know you at all but wanted to express sympathy at the loss of your son/ sibling. You managed to rally the best of Toronto’s Jewish community together in your time of suffering. I had been praying for him daily. although we don’t understand why your son was chosen as our sacrifice, in his coma your family accomplished so much and set precendence for Klal Yisroel. May you be spared further pain.

It breaks my heart that one of our precious Jewish lives is no longer among us! May he rest in peace in Gan Eden and watch over his loved ones! Max, Rebecca and the whole family. Netanel had the zechut to come to Uman for Rosh Hashanah and was a big part our lives and still is a great part of the Tzaddik connection, he will really be missed by us. May his Neshama have a great aliyah straight in gad eden with Rabbeinu Nachman Ben Feiga.

Although I do not know the family, I have prayed for him throughout this whole proceeding that the community (klal) had come together to support this brave family. There is a reason we are all put on this earth and perhaps Natanel Shalom's was to remind us all that we are a family and we support each other and rally towards what is right and correct. I wasn't able to go to the sessions at the Courthouse...but I always made sure to find out what had transpired and was so glad that the Judges had been sympathetic to the family's love of their son combined with their adherence to Torah. You, his family and Natanel Shalom of blessed memory were always in my prayers. May you all be comforted with all the mourners of Zion and Jerursalem and know no more sorrow and Natanel Shalom is at peace with all the beauty in Gan Eden. Janice Lebow

BH Dearest Reb Nissim. I am crying a lot right now as I just found out. I don't know how to contact you otherwise. I will try through your nephew Yoni Samuel who davened next to me in Uman Rosh Hashanah. I remember your son and I also remember his brit at Rabbi Burak's shul next to CHAT. I also remember you and him in Uman together. May the merit of the tzaddik REbbe Nachman ben Feiga stand by him eternally and may you find the true condolence and hope in such a painful situation. See Likutey Moharan lesson 21 where Rebbe Nachman says that the true condolence in life is Daát - when you understand the daat behind what is happening in life you can accept and go with any challenge in life. May you be consoled among the mourners of Tzion and Yerushalayim and not experience misery any more. May you be consoled from Heaven. Sincerely Meir ben Aliza Elkabas
