Philip Shapiro passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017. He was a gentle, peaceful soul who left the world in the same spirit in which he lived his life. He was the beloved husband of Frances Shapiro – they shared a profound life-long love for one another. Philip was a deeply devoted father and father-in-law to Michael, Howard and Deb (Stoch), and Carla Rose. He was a loving grandfather to Sophie and Emma. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Dave and Anne, and the late Morris, Jack and Alice, and Shirley and Steve Pal. Graveside service on Sunday June 11 at 11:00 a.m., at the Dawes Road Cemetery, 3169 St. Clair Avenue East. Shiva at 412 Glenlake Avenue daily from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, commencing Sunday, June 11 and concluding the morning of Friday, June 16. Evening services will be held at 7:30 pm.
