It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ronald Swirsky on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Mackenzie Health Hospital. Beloved husband of Susan. Loving father and father-in-law of Karen and Morrie Luft. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Mel and Hilda Swirsky. Cherished Zaidie of Markus, Eden, and Abraham. Dear uncle of Jason and Peri Swirsky. Memorial donations may be made to Mackenzie Health Foundation 905-883-2032 or to Associated Hebrew Schools 416-494-7666.

Ron Goldsmith

My condolences to Ron's family. Ron and I were next-door office neighbours at Ryerson for a number of years and worked together on many projects. I have fond memories of stimulating conversations on a variety of subjects, some of which took place during shared subway rides that were always enjoyable in his company. He was an intelligent, passionate colleague, a dedicated Ryersonian, and a good friend. My sympathy to you all.

I just learned of Ron's passing away from the N.P. a few minutes ago. We attended Rabbi Eisenberget''s Shabbat morning Minyan for years. Ron was first a real "Mensch"who thought critically and independently. He was a devoted and proud Jew. He was also a strong and informed supporter of Istael. I will miss him.
