Firestone, Nathan. After a valiant fight, Nathan Firestone, at age 94, has passed away. He was predeceased by his loving wife of over 50 years, Ruth, and his beloved sister Edith and his late brother-in-law Martin Klein. He leaves his two sons Stephen and Mark, two daughter-in-laws, Wendy and Sol, his three treasured grandchildren Sarah, Danya and Ryan, and his devoted nephew Harvey Klein, niece Ruth Klein and their families, and his late nephew Manny Klein. Anyone who met him knew that Nathan was a remarkable man. He had a sparkle and determination that were unmistakable. He was dashing, fiercely independent, strong, powerful and resilient. He loved life and was young at heart. His strength and dignity set an example for us all. He will be sorely missed and forever remembered. Funeral Service is on Friday October 16, at 1:30 pm at Steeles Memorial Chapel, with interment to follow at the Linitzer section of Bathurst Lawn Memorial Park. Shiva is private.
