Claire had a tragic life. She lived through WW11 in England and wss sent away as a young chld, to a family in the country, but experienced the bombing of London, which affected her in later life when hearing the fireworks on Canada Day.Her Mother died at a young age.Claire started life anew alone in Canada. She married Lenny, a widower, Father of two young sons, Mark and Joel, who Claire adopted. Claire & Lenny had two daughters, Stacey and Lisa.Leonard suffered with Leukemia for many years and left Claire a widow at a young age. Claire 's Father lived with the family in Toronto, but died after an unusual accident in a mall caused his health to deteriorate.After a number of years, Claire met and was going to marry Stanley.Before the wedding could take place, Stan died suddenly at a young age..Again Claire was left to cope alone. Claire worked in the shmatah business as a salesperson, ekeing out a living to support herself and Stacey and Lisa in her home.Her children grew up to be devoted, caring people. Through all of this Claire had a great personality and wit.Those who remained her friends were loyal and their friendship was returned. Claire was proud of her devoted daughters and Grandchildren.Due to her illness in the last few years of her life, Claire lived in a nursing home,.She lost the company of her lifelong friends, but we never forgot the great person Claire was. May she rest in peace in Gan Eden and may you never know any more sorrow.
