On December 3, 2016 at Mount Sinai Hospital. Eliezer, loving father of Dan (Sandra),and Alon (Alina). Devoted grandfather of Isabel and Aden. Eliezer is survived by his father, Perec Svetlizin, and his sister, Sara Kaidar (David). Will be missed by his nephews, Ron (Ronit, Liah, Noah), Ken, and Yair (Sari). Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Shiva Details: Following the interment friends and family are invited to 1121 Steeles Ave. West, Toronto (Primrose buildings), Multi-purpose room, Ground floor. Entrance at the back of the building. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Shiva will be observed at 43 Whalen Court (Bathurst and Elgin Mills) from 1 to 9 p.m. daily.

Myron Swetlitz

Marge and I offer our condolences to Lazer’s entire family. Lazer became more than a good friend of ours. We will remember the visits to Canada and especially the reunion in New Jersey in 2010. We found each other during a genealogy search of the Svetlitzin family in 2008 and realized that our descendants came from Ludza, Latvia. Lazer became my extended family and we were in touch with each other over the years. We will miss him.
