Asher Cohen, (89) of Vaughn, Ontario passed away peacefully on August 9th, 2017. Asher, son of Eli and Liza Cohen, is survived by his wife Louise, daughter Lily and sons Elliot and Israel (Isy). He is also survived by his grandchildren Joshua and Cassandra. Asher was a businessman for many years, having auto-mechanic shops in Egypt, Israel, and Montreal.  He valued education and spoke seven languages.  In his mid-50’s he turned to teaching and earned a Bachelor degree in Education from McGill University.   With his teaching degree, he was able to impart his vast knowledge and expertise to his students at l’École des métiers de l’équipement motorisé de Montréal, where he became a valued and respected educator for over 15 years.
