Ted Chester passed away peacefully at North York General Hospital on December 10, 2017. Ted Chester, beloved husband of Sophie Chester, former husband of Joli Chester. Dear father of Norman, Rochelle Chester and Daniel Horwitz, and Melanie and Moshe Zeldman. Zaidy of Ben and Ezra Horwitz, Aviva Shore, Chana Orbach, Shifra, Esther, Chaim Dov and Yisroel Noach Zeldman. Alte Zaidy of Noam and Lelli Shore and Yonaton Baruch Orbach. We are forever grateful to Emily for being Dad’s loving and devoted caregiver and to Patrick, Leah, and Joy for their support of their Lolo. A Holocaust survivor, whose family perished in the war, Dad came to Canada with nothing but leaves this world with an enormous legacy and a beautiful Jewish family. Donations to be made at: Ted B.
