With the deepest sorrow, peacefully on January 9th, 2018 Stanley Wolfson passed away. Stan was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor (Honey), cherished father and father-in-law of Susannah and Chris, Teri and David, devoted grandfather of Rebecca and Michael, Emma, Drew and proud great-grandfather of Jake. Your family will love, honour and miss you forever. Stan leaves a legacy of honesty, kindness, humour, ingeniousness and selflessness. Special thanks to Liza and the staff of Baycrest Palliative.

We are sorry for your loss. Stan was everything you mentioned and more. He was my last living uncle and I grew up with him and Honey. I can't begin to tell you all of the great memories and times we had. That was a time that the family was bonded and extremely close. He will always be remembered by us.

He was every child's dream for a father for those who did not have a father. If we all had a piece of Stan's soul and exercised his kindness this world would be a much better place. Stan was the man! Susan and Terry and families. I've just seen this notice now and so sorry to read about your dad. He was such a truly nice man. I would speak to him occasionally, unfortunately not so much the past few years. I was always amazed at how much he knew, and the interesting conversations we had. Really, he was a mensch from another era but modern and informed at the same time. A true "renaissance" man. I occasionally look at my parents old home movies from the Letchworth Cres era, all before my time. It seems my parents used to like to throw a party or two, and your folks are in all the party movies. It's wonderful you had your dad for so long and I hope he enjoyed good health in his later years.
