SOLOMON, Janina (Janka) (née Birenbaum)

Peacefully, on Friday, April 20, 2018, in her ninety-first year.  She was a Holocaust Survivor, who cherished and devoted herself to her family everyday of her life. She was predeceased by her husband David. She leaves behind her daughters, Peggy Solomon (Abe Hirsz) and Isabelle Cantor (Allan Cantor), five grandchildren, Marci, Zachary, Rebecca, Jessica and Hannah, and loving brother, Tadek of France. We appreciate the support and love she received from extended family that lives in France, South Africa, Florida and Montreal. She took great pride in being the Nana to everyone and will be missed and remembered with fond memories. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, April 23 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Radomer Society Section, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Duvernay.
