Helen Zucker

Zucker, Helen (Chaya). Holocaust survivor. Passed away peacefully on Shabbat, June 2, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Philip (Feivel) Zucker. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Faye and Martin Kellerstein, Shirley and Jeffrey Stutz, and Bella and Joel Shupac. Devoted grandmother of Rebecca (Daniel), Jeremy (Jennie), David (Tali), Eli (Tziona), Adam, Eric (Orli), Aliza (Louis), Jodie, and Joseph. Proud great-grandmother of seventeen. Special thanks to her wonderful caregiver Candy Dela Fuente. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Hadassah-Wizo Organization 416-630-8373 or Shaarei Shomayim Synagogue, c/o Philip Zucker Torah Fund (416) 789-3213.

Daily prayer services will be held at 11 Aldburn Rd. Shacharit daily at 7:30 a.m. and Sunday at 8:30 a.m. Mincha / Maariv at 8:40 p.m.

To the Zuker family: I was so saddened to hear of Helen's of blessed memories death. She was a lovely lady and a wonderful match for your late father and grandfather, Philip, of blessed memory. I had a great deal of respect and affection for both of them. I also had the gift of sitting with her and chatting at appropriate times at the Village Shul when she came a number of years ago. I knew both Mr. and Mrs. Zuker from many years before at Shaarei Shomayim and he of course, helped my son, Yoni, prepare for his Bar Mitzvah 22 years ago. Certainly the times that I shared with Helen Zuker at the Village Shul will for all time bring me wonderful memories. She was a sweet and gracious lady. You, her loved ones were blessed to have her all of these years and I know that she loved and was proud of all of you. May you be comforted with all the Mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and know no more sorrow.
