Message of Condolence

Paul and Donna Rabinovitch
To Elaine, Jeff, David and family, please accept our sincerest condolences on the passing of your dear father. He was a lovely man with a good sense of humour. My mother and I spent a lovely afternoon with your dad last summer and he mentioned your mom often. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family during this difficult time.

Please accept our sincere deep condolences during this difficult time. I will always remember Uncle Syd with a smile on his face and a genuinely very friendly and likeable person. Although we didn't see him and Aunt Laura often, we reconnected last year and met for lunch a couple of times. It was amazing how sharp he was, and could do math in his head faster than I could with my phone - just like his father. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family and friends.

We are very sad to hear about the loss of Syd. He made us laugh and we loved spending time with him and listening to his stories about growing up in Montreal. We really miss him. May you be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. Love Sandy's son Jamie and Dahlia Nahon and family.

Sorry to hear about Sydney's passing. He and Laura used to travel, spend our winters together and enjoy. Never saw Syd not looking perfectly dressed, even in his robe after shaving. (we lived in the same condo bldg.) They were both very nice people, I have wonderful memories. Hope you all also much happy times to remember. My condolences.

We were sorry to hear about Syd's passing. Through Sandy we got to know Syd well. We had many dinners together with lots of laughs and good stories about the old days. He was a very kind and gentle man and we were happy to know him. We know that his family will have many happy memories of him to help them through this difficult time. Beverley and Sidney Linden

My heart goes out to my cousins, Elaine, Jeffrey, and David. I’m so sorry for the pain of loss you are feeling with your dad’s passing. I loved my Uncle Sydney; he was a great support for me, especially when my parents were aging. May his memory be a blessing.

IT IS WITH MUCH SADNESS THAT I READ TODAY OF THE PASSING OF SYD. MY HUSBAND MOTE AND I GO BACK MANY YEARS IN FRIENDSHIP. WE HAD MANY HOLIDAYS TOGETHER AND CARD GROUPS THAT LASTED OVER TIME. SYD AND MOTE WOULD MEET FOR BAGEL AND COFFEE AND WOULD HAVE THE USUAL TALK OF THE STOCK MARKET AND BUSINESS. THEY HAD A VERY NICE RELATIONSHIP. BUT THE YEARS PASS AND WE CAN ONLY HAVE MANY WONDERFUL MEMORIES WHICH I HOPE WILL MAKE IT EASIER FOR THE FAMILY NOW. PLEASE ACCEPT MY CONDOLENCES. WITH LOVE TO ALL
