So sorry for your loss. For the small community of Chilean Jews growing in Toronto, we were all family and he was like an uncle to me growing up. Many years spent at each other's houses, barbecues, picnics and family get-togethers make for fond memories. May his memory be for a blessing and may you all be comforted among the mourners of Zion.

I'm so very sorry for your loss! Tio Jacobo, and your whole family were such a big part of my life growing up. He got me my job at Open Window when I was in School, a job that was instrumental in helping guide me in my career choices that have led me to the person I am today. I will always have such warm and fond memories of hearing his distinct voice as all the "parents" played Cacho. Although this is a terribly sad time I hope you all can take some comfort in knowing that he will be remembered with warmth and love by many, and that has a beautiful family that he leaves behind, what better Legacy. My sincerest condolences.

My heart is breaking just hearing the news of the passing of my dear mentor and friend Abraham . He mentored me at Open Window Bakery for 18 years. He was the most kind hearted man I knew ! He made me into the person I am today. I am forever greatful for the gift of knowledge he has passed onto me . I worked many hours along side Abraham and let me tell you what a work horse he was! Sick or not he was always there . His energy astounded me even tho at that time I was in my teenage years and looked up to him . Open Window was blessed to have him !! I want to thank him for the great laughs and memories he left me with. They will be cherished forever ! In the reflection of a wonderful, loving and so kind of a man , just look at the beautiful family he loved dearly and talked to me about his children and grand children every chance he could and his wife. He was so proud of them and when he spoke I just starred at him and looked at the amount of pride and love he had for his children and grand children ! I will miss him dearly . I share those wonderful memories of laughter together with my children and makes them laugh . His journey on this earth was truly a blessing to all who knew him. He has touched our lives in such a beautiful way! I’ve was and we will forever be great full for the time we did have with him. I know his memory will live on to his beautiful family and to all of us that knew him . I am honored to call him friend . RIP Abraham . Forever in our hearts .
