To the entire Brickman Family, I am so sad and sorry to hear the news that Aviva has passed away. I have so many wonderful memories of good times and celebrations that we shared together. We had lots of great talks over the years and I felt close to her even though I haven't seen her for a long time. I hope that you find a bit of comfort in that she is no longer suffering. There never was a truer or more loyal friend than Aviva. We shared so much over the years and she will be deeply missed by me and by everyone who ever knew her. To Boaz, Yonah, Rena, Dana, Peninah and Shoshie and your wonderful families, you all meant so much to her and were dearly loved. Your mother was fortunate to have such caring compassionate children who were there for her during the health challenges she faced, providing her with comfort, support, encouragement and love. When we hear the Frank Sinatra song "I did it my way", we think of Aviva, as, whether or not a decision was in her best interest or not, she did things her way. We were so sorry to hear this news. Aviva was an incredible mother and a wonderful cousin. She was kind and loving and visited my parents often. She left a beautiful legacy in her children and grandchildren. It meant so much to us that she came to Dad’s birthday in January, despite being so ill herself. She was one of a kind and will be dearly missed.

I knew Aviva since we were children (her grandparent's cottage was next to mine). Whenever I saw her in later years, she was always outgoing, warm, easy to talk to, and full of life. She will be missed by all who knew her. My condolences to all her family and all her friends who were part of her life.

I'm so sooooo sad. Dear cousins and family, although we are far away, our hearts are with you. We are thinking of you all and sending our hugs. Aviva was a beloved aunt, she was caring, and funny and we always looked forward to her visits in Israel. I enjoyed hearing her thoughts and getting updated about how everyone was doing. She was a wonderful person, devoted mother, caring grandma (/bubby) and loving sister. Family meant a lot to her and I will miss her dearly. Dear Honey, Orah, Label and families: My condolences on the passing of Aviva. I had the good fortune to see her last year at my fathers. Otherwise I have not seen her much over the years (nor you). But I have very good memories of you all at the cottage, and she was like a little mother (the oldest of the cousins). I also have good memories of pesach seders at your house with Aviva. So sorry for her suffering and glad she has left such a large and fine family.
