Dina Wolfe

My heartfelt condolences to all of you. I remember your mom as a beautiful lady, always with a big smile on her face. May God rest her soul!

So sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. A couple of years ago I admired a scarf of hers which she then gave me, every time I wear it I will think of her. Your Mom was fun and classy at the same time.

We were so saddened to hear of your deep loss. Dina was such a dynamo with a colorful and big personality. We are so glad we had the chance to get to know her through our close friendship with Jeff through the decades to our dealings with her in the Lodzer office. She will be forever missed by so many.

As secretary of the Lodzer she had to put up with the elders but never let them get away with anything. She’s the one that encouraged the younger generation to join the board. Dear Lisa, Jeff, Ricky and Anita I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. Growing up, being best friend with Lisa, your mom was like a second mother to me. Having also lost my mother in a Covid world only a month ago, I know that messages of condolence definitely provided comfort to me and I hope that this message (and the others you receive) do the same for you. To the Wolfe family, I extend my sincere condolences. I remember Dina from the time she was a teenager. She was best friends with my cousin, Faye (Brody) Rubinstein and they were students in the same high school. Over the years our paths crossed many times. From the time I joined The Lodzer Congregation, I saw Dina sitting near the front of the shul during the high holidays with ember of your family. I also had the privilege of being Bar/bat-mitzvah teacher to both Jason and Emily. So sorry for your loss!

Dear Lisa, Anita, Jeff and Rick, We are so very sorry for your loss and for your children's loss. Dina was a very beautiful, larger than life soul. She was passionate, colorful, loud, beautiful, showy, sparkly and most definitely a force to be reckoned with!! I have known Dina for approximately 43 years. I have so many precious memories of which I will cherish. All of my memories include Dina's big beautiful smile! Five years ago Dina joined us in celebrating my mothers 80th birthday. Dina and my mom (Reva) were very close friends. Dina came to Alaska with myself and my husband, my brothers and my sisters in law and my Mom. Probably one of my fondest memories was of when we were in a limousine enroute to the Cruise terminal. My Mom and Dina sat at the head of the Limo together, facing the six of us. Needless to say Dina had us all held captive. She took this opportunity to share a wonderful story/joke with us. I actually have her theatrics on video! She took great pleasure in waving her arms and recounting this wonderful hilarious joke. At the end of it we were all roaring with laughter!! And so it was the best way to start our family vacation! My last few visits with Lisa and Howard and Dina, I spent some special time reminiscing with Dina. We spoke about past experiences as well as current situations. She spoke of how grateful and blessed she was to stay with Lisa and Howard. How she felt that it was like a resort. And she spoke of how she felt that she was treated as a queen. Dina - You were our Queen!! Dina also told me many times during our last few visits that she loved me as if I was her daughter. One of the gifts that Dina had was to make each person that she touched, feel very very special. You will always be in our hearts. Lots of love forever, Sharon, Robert and Reva

Rick, Anita, Jeff , Lisa and family members - I have so many wonderful memories of growing up in the house on Overbrook Place, the Canyon apartment and visits to her home out west. I will remember always the image of a vibrant women with ruby red lips, brilliant red hair, and impeccably dressed. Our condolences to you at this difficult time. X0

To the Wolfe family Dina was my best friend. She was my "sister from another mother. She was good hearted and a huge personality. We supported each other in happy times, like weddings, bar mitzvahs and sad and stressful times like the death of my mother, brother and my husband. We went to Cowboy movies as teenagers, we shared confidences as adults. I loved and admired her and we argued like siblings. Dina was dramatic, I was pragmatic, somehow it always worked.
