David Genrichovich Tartakovsky (September 15, 1928 – June 29, 2021). Passed away in peace on June 29, 2021 at the age of 92.  Preceded in death by his beloved wife and companion for over 50 years, Vella Gurvich Tartakovsky who passed away on December 3, 2012.  Devoted father to Maria Tartakovsky Malchiondo (Jim Kirkos).  Beloved and proud grandfather (Dida) to Joel Brett Tartakovsky Malchiondo and Julia Anne Tartakovsky Malchiondo.  Cherished step father to Irina Kapran.  Dearest lifelong friend of Mania Kryuchkova and the Kolodin Family.  Friend and mentor to many over his lifetime.  David will always be remembered for his intelligence, unwavering values and integrity, strength, tenancy, the ability to get things accomplished and to overcome any of the obstacles that life threw at him.  Rest in peace Papa / Dida.  You will never be forgotten, will always be missed and forever loved.

Shiva will be held at the home of Maria Malchiondo.
