Budd, Bella Lynn passed away peacefully in her 95th year on Friday, March 11th, surrounded by all of her family. Lynn will be sadly missed by her husband of 75 years, Sol; predeceased by her parents Getzel and Esther Cohen, z”l, and her sisters and brothers-in-law Ruth Rosenstein (Harry), z”l, Jeannette Cohen (Harold), z”l, and Dr Marvin Lester, z”l. Mum will be forever missed by her siblings Sam and Beverly Cohen, Max and Hilda Cohen, and Helen Lester; her sons and daughters-in-law Gary and Liliane, Marvyn and Susan, Yonah (Jay) and Sonya, and Michael and Kaila; devoted Bubbie to Brandon (Leora) and Elisha (Rob Berger), Jeremy (Samantha) and Adam (Lindsay), Josh (Erin), Zachary, and Lucas, and Russell (Blaire Hennick-Budd) and Diandra (Noah Fenyes), and numerous great-grandchildren. Mom was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family and her unwavering love for her grandchildren. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 13th, at Steeles Memorial Chapel. Memorial donations would be greatly appreciated to Chabad Lubavitch of Southern Ontario (www.Chabad.ca), JRCC East Thornhill (www.jrcceastthornhill.org), or Jewish National Fund (www.jnf.ca).

The family will be observing Shiva at 1201 Steeles Ave. W. #105, North York, M2R 3K1. Shiva visitors are welcome daily from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Morning services will be held daily at 9:30 a.m. Evening services will be held daily at 7:00 p.m.

A mask is required for all those attending the service at Steeles Memorial Chapel on Sunday.

My condolences to Sol and the entire extended families. I recall when the Cohen family frequently stopped at my parent's house after shul as we were family and lived in close proximity downtown. Today,-so long ago. Somehow over the years we drifted apart and went our different ways as our families grew. Lynn was truly a "Woman of Valor" (Eishet Chayil) and will be missed.
