Rose Dora Rotstein passed away peacefully,surrounded by her family,at the age of 89, on April 29, 2022. Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Rose was born on September 10, 1932 and was the eldest daughter of the late Gertrude and Morris Mandel in Hamilton, Ontario. Rose was predeceased by her little sister, Mary Grossman, who she loved with all of her heart. Rose lost the love of her life, her husband Jack of 67 years,in March 2021. Together they created a beautiful family. She is survived by her children, Jerry Rotstein and Ruthe Schipper, Fern and Stan Boigon, Elissa Bensimon and Frank Chiaramonte, Mark Rotstein and Rosa Montemurro. Grandchildren, Carly, Michelle and Mike, Kayla and Jon, Ryan and Rachel, Kira and Andrew, Sarah and Ryan, Arielle and Lorry, and Henry, and Great Grandchildren, Palmer, Aidan, Emma, Cooper, Poppy, Max, Myles, and Jack. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Charlie Rotstein. Rose is predeceased by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lou Grossman, Harry and Gloria Rotstein, and Lorraine Rotstein. The family will forever be indebted to Mitzi, for her loving companionship. Rose will be dearly missed by all her were fortunate to know her.
