Peacefully, in her 94th year, on July 1, 2022, Leah Plum Papernick, beloved wife of the late Bernard Papernick. Devoted mother and mother-in-law to Marty Papernick and Barbara Cooper, Annie Papernick and Edward Yudin. Sylvia Papernick and Hal Koblin, David Papernick and Sharon Fligel. Cherished grandmother to Joshua, Benjamin, Rachel, Daniel, Hannah, Jeremy and Joey. She is predeceased by sisters Ray Berger and Molca Budin. Leah lived life with vibrancy and passion. Thank you to Drs. Amy Freedman and Solina Lim and the staff of Baycrest Apotex, floor 7 and to caregivers Glenna Orata and Mona Paculanan for their devotion and compassion. A graveside funeral service will be held at Jones Avenue Cemetery, 480 Jones Avenue, Toronto, on Monday, July 4, at 1:00 pm.

Shiva will be observed at 28 Shallmar Blvd., Toronto, M6C 2J9 (in the backyard). Visitors are welcome Monday immediately following the interment, and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday to Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Evening services will be held daily at 7:15 p.m. Shiva concludes Friday afternoon, July 8th.
