Ron was my mentor. He was a remarkable man with a huge heart. Ron's ability to connect with people was second to none and he will be sincerely missed. Ron's belief in me combined with his coaching and patience has allowed me to succeed within my Admissions career over the last 16+ years. Recently I had the privilege to re-connect with Ron professionally and am grateful for his kindness and friendship. Ron was a very special man and I will always have him in my thoughts. Marla, please accept my sincere condolences for your loss.

We have been friends of Marla's for over 20 years and we have seen the great love that Marla and Ron each had for each other. They each found their "one" and it is sad that Ron's life ended at such a young age but at least it ended with his soul-mate at his side.

My condolences to the entire Family of THEE Brandts and Wittenbergs. I have fond memories of being in the Brandt home listening The Carpenters and Elton John. Ron an I had a fascination with Radio. We did in high school college and then at Cfox 99 on Richard's. We all had a blast in those days. Everyone that Ron new were guests the studio. He was an ace on the console. He at some moments worked at the family business and the station was an outlet for relaxation. May everyone move on and remember the good times. Dear Marla, i just today learned about Ron's passing. Sorry im so late leaving my condolences. You may know me as Joe Passion. I consider Ron a dear friend for many years, back as far as when he worked at Trbas in the downtown first location. I did speak with him on July 9 when he gave me an update. It seemed to me he was rallying. I truely feel for your loss. Ron was one of only a few people i know who had a truely generous heart and forgiving soul. He was always positive in his nature. May you find your way to continue through this mournful time and re-engage your life as I think Ron would be proud to see. Blessings to you

I cannot forget some of the great things Ron and I did during high school. We would escape high school and play hookie. We would walk up Willow Street to the Oakridge Shopping Mall for the Italian Lunch Sandwich. Those were the days ! In our time . The 70's. Woodwards had the fantastic FOOD FLOOR. You would shop and they would put your groceries in a grey plastic container and send it down underneath the checkout stand. You would then pick your groceries up when you left the Food Floor You would get in your car and hand the valet your Number and they would put your groceries in your trunk and then take everything home. There were two White Spots there also. The furniture building was there along with Kellys Records and the wonderful Christmas decorations with SANTA giving out presents to the kids. Magical moments1
