Rachel Esses ( nee Totah) sadly passed away peacefully on October 5, 2022 on Motzai Yom Kippur at the age of 82 with her family by her side.   

Rachel was born in 1940 and is the second youngest of her 8 siblings and is pre-deceased by her parents Ezra and Adel Totah ( z’l)  and 3 of her siblings, Jacques (z’l), Victor (z’l) and Nina (z’l) .  

She was a beloved wife to Albert Esses for 61 years, mother of three children Shlomo (Miriam), Dalia ( Nir), and Daphna (Jeff). Grandmother to six – Shely ( Yaakov), Ariel, Shirel, Sivan, Lauryn and Avi, and Great Grandmother to Maya and Etya.  She was proud of all of them and her face always lit up when they were around. She was also loved by her many nieces and nephews. 

She had a beautiful smile that we will miss dearly and will be greatly missed by all who had the fortune to get to know her.
