On Sunday, November 6, 2022, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of Helen and Sam Rosenbaum z”l. Beloved wife of Irving, loving mother and mother in law of Adam and Dara, David and Rebecca, Julia and David Levin. Dear sister of Harry Rosenbaum and family. Cherished Bubbie of Greyson, Jenna and Ruby, Hannah, Isabel and Benjamin, Sophia, Joshua and Romi. Susan was a true woman of strength, a kind and caring soul with a strong devotion to her family and many close friends. She made the world better for those around her, leaving behind beautiful memories and a lasting legacy. She will be forever missed and never forgotten by all those who knew her.

Marty & I are heartbroken for all of you. Suzy was the best wife, mother, Bubbie and sister....and I am very proud to say that she was my best friend....Suzy really was the best. Being friends since we were 10 years old, we had a special bond.. Not having sisters ourselves, we chose to be sisters. So many memories over the years....working at the CNE, BBYO dances, fun at the cottage, dating, wedding plans, children, grandchildren, trips together and our daily phone conversations. You could rely on Suzy to give you the best advice. We shared our joys and our sorrows. She touched so many lives and I am especially honoured to have had Suzy as my best friend. Dear Irv and Family. Jeff and I just heard this very sad news this morning. We had noticed cars on the street last night and we thought it was another one of Susan's fabulous art events. I wish we had known. I was just thinking about checking in on her as I hadn't seen her smiling face outside for awhile. Susan leaves behind a beautiful legacy. She was a kind and very warm soul. Whenever I ran into her she'd speak of her children and grandchildren with such pride, it practically burst out of her. She'd tell me often not to be in a rush to have my girls move out as it's so awesome to have your kids around always. I am so happy to have been a neighbour and wish only our paths had crossed more. Our deepest sympathies to you Irv, your kids, grandkids and the community of friends that so loved her.

Dear Irv, I was sad to learn of Susie’s passing. I know her passing was expected but as I well know from my recent loss, this anticipation does not make it any easier to bear. As you may remember, fairly recently we had the opportunity to get to know Susee better when she came over to our house and gave us a lot of very useful advice about what we could do with my mother’s many paintings. I will miss her very welcoming smile and presence at future Rattner parties. I hope that the closeness of family and many friends helps you through this very difficult time. We remember Suzy as a kind a loving person who greeted me at the door every year at tax time.
