I'm overwhelmed with gratitude today that Aaron was able to come to California to see me one last time recently. Our visit was perfect and we had the time of our lives, like we always did. We drove, we prayed, we ate, we talked, we rejoiced, we reminisced, we cried, we hugged, we celebrated our lifelong friendship. We have been brothers since we met at summer camp at the age of 7. I got bullied a lot, i was kind of weird, i guess i probably still am, but, if Aaron ever caught so much as a glimpse of somebody giving me a hard time, he would clock them, they would run off crying, and they would never give me a hard time again. We got mistaken for brothers pretty regularly growing up, couple nice loud ashkenazi boys doing dumb reckless fun stuff in the woods and on the water both motorized and non motorized. Aaron taught me how to work a clutch, shift a gear, and treat a friend. It wasn't until after watching the service today that i realized that i picked up saying "i love you" as a good bye to my friends from Aaron. Been doing it my whole life, never realized who started it, not about to change it. Leon, Linda, Michael, Daniel, Sidney, Felice, Deadra, Ben, i know that you know that we are all very blessed to love and have loved somebody who could teach us to love so unconditionally and selflessly. May we all carry Aaron's warmth, light, loyalty, generosity, kindness, and unyielding unfiltered sense of wonder with us for all of our days. My heart is broken today. I love you all so much. I wish i could be with you today.

I knew Aaron through Ben and Linder and spent quite a few nights with Aaron. He was always a ton of fun to be around and all-around a really great guy. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. Wishing the best for the whole family.
