Jared was kind to me when I was a kid/teen and not very many were. We lost touch when I left Aurora before high school and I know we didn’t know each other as adults- but he was an amazing person in the young years. My condolences to his family and loved ones and I hope he is at rest.

Dear Stephanie, and your entire family, I am saddened to hear about the sudden loss of Jared. My heart goes out to you during this difficult time. Losing someone so young is never easy, and I cannot even begin to imagine the pain you must be feeling right now. Although, my acquaintance with him were short friendly chats seeing him around the neighbourhood, he represented choices and consequences in ways that gave a perspective that taught me much through hearing his experiences. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Stephanie, Roger and Elyse: I’m very sorry to hear of your loss. You are all in my thoughts at this time. Though it’s been years, you were all positive influences in my life, and I’m very thankful for the contributions you had. You each cross my mind whenever I think back. I can’t imagine the pain you’re in and know there isn’t much that can be said to alleviate that, but I hope you’re able to find peace within one another and begin your healing journey. All the best. Sending love your way.

To Stephanie, Roger & Elyse I cannot express how truly sorry to hear that Jared has passed away. I remember the good times we had when he was little and you came to Toronto. Remember when we dressed him up in a skirt and top with nail polish and lip stick. We were hysterical about this. Roger was not impresssed haha. I understand the pain that you are going through and time will heal but never forgotten.``

Roger, Stephanie, Elyse, Skyler, Jax - my deepest condolences. A dear friend since elementary school, Jared had an infectious smile and a unique way of warming the hearts of the people around him. I will cherish our elementary school times in Aurora, remember my trips to Toronto to visit him in high school and past, and hold dearly in my heart the quiet coffees and dinners at Roger’s house in adulthood. Jared spent endless hours telling stories of his children, his proudest accomplishment. My Thoughts and Prayers are with you all - Rest peacefully my dear friend.

My sincere condolences to the family. I have excellent memories of Jared from when we were young that I'm grateful for. Many of those intrepid childhood memories I can remember like they were yesterday. I never saw Jared flinch when it came to standing up for his friends, he was always stalwart. I won't forget him.

Deeply saddened to hear this news. We grew up together on Johnson rd. I’ll always remember the day we met when I was 6 and Jared had climbed up a tree to take aim at passing cars with his pellet gun. He invited me to join in the fun as long as I brought more pebbles up the tree with me which we stored in an old birds nest. Many more fond memories. Rest easy, brother.

I am shocked and saddened to learn about the passing of a friend from another lifetime, Jared. I have many fond memories of Jared. Throughout our youth, he was a good friend, honest, brave and loyal. I exchanged a few messages with him a few years ago, and although we were adults, I still felt at his core, he was that same guy. I wished that we could have connected at least one more time; maybe I’ll see you again on the other side…I want to send my sincerest condolences to his family.

I have fond and funny memories of Jared and my Michael when they were younger. Always busy always laughing. Jared came running out of a bedroom right into my elbow and knocked his tooth out.....he said "feels good" we all laughed. It's heartbreaking that he's gone. My sincerest condolences 🙏 to his whole family.

To Stephanie and family, I'm sorry for your loss, Though Jared and I had our issues the last few years he was a good guy that had his whole life still ahead of him and deserved to live it to the fullest, he had the heart of a warrior, may Odin welcome him to Valhalla and may he feast with the gods
