Harvey Avenus,  father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario at the age of 86.

Harvey was born on October 25, 1936 in Toronto to Max and Florence Avenus. He was the beloved brother of Leila Avenus.

Harvey was a devoted husband to his former spouse Nancy Avenus and a loving father to his daughter Nadine Togneri (Collin) and son Mitchell Avenus (Monica). He was a proud grandfather to Jessica, Adam, Drew, Ryan, and Alexa.

Harvey was a long-time employee of Great Gulf and was known for his  dedication. He enjoyed getting together with the guys to play cards. He loved dogs and long walks, and he had a great sense of humor.

Harvey will be remembered for his witty humor  and his infectious smile.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
