On Saturday, May 18, 2024, son of the late Anne and Ben Girvitz from Winnipeg and devoted husband of the late Beverley Anne (née Chapnick), died at the age of 94 years young. Loving father of Sheldon, Mark (Debbie) and Tammy. Proud Zaida to Stacey (Adrian), Dwight, Ashley (Chris), Aaron and Leah. Great grandfather to Annamarie and Brendan. Predeceased by his siblings Albert (Ida), Phyllis, Sally and Ruthie (Robert). Forever loved by Rhonda, Ali, and the late Ronnie. A special thank you to his special friend and steadfast caregiver Saif. Jerry was known as a man with a good heart and was living proof that people with a good sense of humour have a better sense of life. His passing has left a deep sense of loss in the hearts of all who knew him. His memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends. Along with his well-deserved promotion to heaven his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched.
