It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvia King. Sylvia passed away peacefully on July 1, 2024 at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Melvin z”l and her son Martin King z”l and in later years by her long-term partner Lionel Frankel z”l and daughter in law Fern King z”l. Sylvia leaves behind her loving family, children Howard King, Elyse and Howard Kirsh, her sister Simone Stern. Grandchildren Elana, Leah (Karen), Megan, Jared (Ellie), Paige (Jordyn), Haley and Sonja and great grandchildren Harper, Nicole, Zoe, Felix and George.

Date of Funeral: Tuesday, July 2, 2024

Time of Funeral: 12:00 PM

Memorial Service Location: Steeles Memorial Chapel 350 Steeles Avenue West.

Burial Service Location: Pardes Shalom Cemetery 10953 Dufferin Street, Maple, ON Temple Sinai Section

Shiva Details: Family and friends invited to 60 Marathon Cres. after the service. Evening services 7:30pm daily except Friday and Saturday. Visitation Tuesday 7:00 to 9:00pm Wednesday 1:00pm to 4:00pm, 7:00 to 9:00pm Thursday 1:00pm to 4:00pm, 7:00 to 9:00pm Friday 1:00pm - 4:00pm Shiva concludes Friday afternoon.
