To the Blaustein Family. I was so saddened to hear this sad news. Rabbi Blaustein was a lovely gentleman and a fantastic and beloved Rebbe. My son, Yoni, loved his Rebbe Blaustein in Grade three, in 1991 at Eitz Chaim. Everyone adored him, kids and parents alike. The loss to his family is huge. May you take solace from his memory. May his Neshama have an Aliyah in Shomayim and may he brings pleasure to the children in Gan Eden and be with his beloved son. Hamakom Yenachem Etchem Betoch Shaar Avalei Tzion ve Yerushalyim and know no more sorrow. Janice Lebow

Risa and the Blaustein family, I knew Rabbi Moshe Blaustein from our hometown Chicago. He knew me as many others in Chicago as Itke Aranoff. Our parents were very close friends and just like family. I remember as a small child my mom Rosalyn ah would drop me off at the Blausteins and they would watch me until.my mom.ah returned. The Blaustein family were always warm and kind and special. Sara Blaustein , Moshe mom ah was such a tzedekes and always a smile on her face. His father was same tzadik. It no wonder all the Blaustein boys turned out so incredible . I just sent Moshe an email awhile back when his older brother Barry Died in Chicagoand when his son Menachem died ah. Chicago Community took Barry death very hard. I told rabbi Blaustein some nice stories about how his brother helped me. I thought a robber broke in my apt in Chicago and Barry went through the apt to make sure I felt safe. The Blaustein owned a shop on Devon and I would go in and have nice conversations with rabbi Blaustein's family. When my mom died ah in Chicago years ago I could not make it in for her funeral or Shiva. Rabbi Blaustein came to offer his condolence and told me we were like a family and it was so comforting for me to hear that as my son and I have no family Here. He always had a huge smile on his face when he saw me at Eitz Chaim and we quickly got to catch up.on Chicago news. The Blaustein family were one of the pillars of Chicago. I was so impressed to hear the many stories about rabbi Blaustein and the impact he had in the Toronto community. I kmow many people will miss him from different communities. I feel Blessed I had the chance to know such a mentch and tzadik. I pray Hashem comforts all of the Blaustein family among all the other mourners of Isreal.

Dear Blaustein Family, Hearing the news of Rabbi Blaustein's petirah was so sad. He was the ultimate mentch/teacher - teaching my sons and grandsons to be Bnei Torah and Mitzvot. He was a man of kindness, emunah, devoted to family and community. May your many memories be a comfort to you. And may he be an amazing messenger in Shamayim for greater times here.

Dear Risa, I am so sad to hear about Rabbi Blaustein's passing. Such a lovely man whose life touched so many. I have fond memories of hearing his booming voice over the school pa system at Eitz Chaim, when I was there each week for the Zareinu class. Meeting him in the hallways he always brightened the day with his smile and greeting. The two of you have been such loving parents to your family, in particularly your sweet M. Thinking of you and all your family at this time.

My sincerest condolences to the entire Blaustein family. If you'll allow me to share a few thoughts…..I had the honour and privilege to have Rabbi Blaustein as my Rebbe in 1989. As a Rebbe, he was masterful at capturing my attention. His energy and charisma were second to none. However one specific aspect crucial to Rabbi Blaustein's character, with which I strongly resonated with, pertains to the significance of health and wellness, a theme that is frequently underscored in today's society and not without reason. Rabbi Blaustein placed great emphasis on physical education, using it as a means to connect with students like myself, who may not have fit the mould of the typical Judaic academic scholar. During my nearly decade-long tenure at Eitz Chaim-Patricia, where Rabbi Blaustein served as my grade 3 Rebbe, we eagerly looked forward to his gym classes, recess, and the ever memorable grade 8 "Rebbe/Student" baseball game. Among the faculty, Rabbi B's prowess in sports, particularly his unparalleled ability to hit monster home runs, was a source of admiration and pride for the entire school. Rabbi Blaustein, your charisma was matched only by your immense heart, and you will be deeply missed by all.
