Burial Service Location: Pardes Shalom Cemetery, Grand Order of Israel section, 10953 Dufferin St., Maple.

Shiva Details: 15 Medoc Place, Thornhill. Daily from 2-4 pm, and 7-9 pm. Evenings services at 7:30 pm. Concludes Wednesday morning, February 26th.

I am sobsorry to read of your loss. My husband z"l originally knew him in Europe growing up and later when he came to Toronto. And many in my family knew him because they were in the same business. I met him when I moved back to Toronto with my husband. I found him to be a super nice man. May you be comforted amongst the mourners of Zion and Yerushalyim

Auntie Sheila, Susan, Cecile, Norm and Sari and family, I am saddened to learn the news of the passing of Uncle Sol. We have had some great times as a family from Sunday BBQs to enjoying my Dad’s tomatoes and Onion salad at the cottage. To having uncle Sol come over to help tend the tomatoes in our Garden. He was a loving uncle and true mensch! May his memory be a blessing. I am sorry for your loss!

Sheila and entire family: There will never be enough words to describe Sol. Once you have met him his goodness and thoughtfulness shows through. Sammy was so thrilled when Sol started bringing him Herring once a week. What a treat--and he wasn't the only one Sol delivered to. It was always fun when he was around.
