. Sandy was a great part of childhood. He was a huge part of my recovery from a rare illness when I was a child. He kept my spirits up and was a wonderful distraction for me and my family! When he was in the forces in California , he was my #1 pen pal , and constantly keeping me on a steady letter writing ppath ( or at least he wrote and I doodled to him.) the relationship between him and I went on till he returned to Canada . Dear Lenny, Marty and Linda, I have a great appreciation for the crazy things we wrote and played on each other so many years ago. May you have the strength to be strong again with your missing ! My sincere condolences to you all !

Brenda Gasner Lass and Brian Lass

Dear Linda and family, I have such fond memories of Sandy as the, “Gasner kids” older cousin. Every Shabbat, we would arrive at the Sigal house on Overbrook and just hang out. As we were growing up, he was there when we needed him and we could count on him to come and get us, or help us, wherever we were, anytime night or day. Sandy was a wonderful son and took care of his parents with so much compassion and always answered to all their needs. Hamakom yinachem otah betoch sha’ar avelei Tzion v’Yerushalayim.
