It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Catherine Goldberg on Saturday, July 26th, 2025. Known as Sally by her friends and family, she passed peacefully with her family at her side.

Born in PEI on June 5th, 1933, as a child she loved to figure skate. As a young woman, she moved to Toronto where she worked as a telephone operator and in a candy factory before meeting her beloved husband, Herb Goldberg. Together they raised a family, living a happy and comfortable life with winters in Florida finding deals at the flea market and lunching at the Rascal House. Summers were spent at the cottage with bonfires, eye openers, and woodles with her Share-A-Shore family. She loved watching figure skating, sneaking her grandkids and great-grandkids treats, and never missed a ball game when her Blue Jays were playing.

Sally is survived by her children Debra (Aubrey), Marla (Franc), and Wayne, her 6 grandchildren Josh (Erin), Tyler-Rose (Joey), Ava, Grace, Catherine (Ken), and Trish, and 12 great-grandchildren Joey, James, Bella, Noa, Ruby, Reid, Avery, Johnathan, Madyson, Daniel, Finch, and Kelly, all of whom she loved daily and dearly.

She will be missed deeply, though the family finds solace in knowing that Sally is happy, without pain or strife, and is reunited with Herbie once again.
