It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Alan Clasky beloved husband of Fay, cherished father and father-in-law of Brian (Angelina), Howard (Nina) and devoted Zaidi to Joshua, Adam, Michael, Danielle and Jillian. Alan passed away peacefully with his family by his side.

Alan was preceded in death by his brother Sam and sister-in-law Terry. He was also preceded in death by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Jack, Marie, Norman, Harvey, and Sharon. He is survived by his loving brother-in-law Ben.

He was very fond of his nieces and nephews, David (Adrienne), Jonathan, Lisa, Gary (Patricia), Tzivia (Gershon), Lani (Evan) and Denise.

Alan was the devoted son of the late Harold and Lucile Clasky. Born in North Battleford Saskatchewan and raised in Estevan where his father ran the local department store. He moved to Toronto to attend Ryerson Polytechnical School where he graduated from the Television and Arts program. He was employed at CFTO TV and TV Ontario throughout his long career and enjoyed his summers at the cottage and once retired, his winters in Florida. His world was centred on home, family and his many friends. He was known as a Mr. Fix-It and would lend out his skills at any time and any hour to help those in need. He always had a good joke or story to tell.

His focus was his cherished wife Fay, and she shared the same commitment to him. They were a powerful team. Alan lived a full and good life and will be truly missed.

We extend our sincere gratitude to extended family and friends for their numerous visits and good wishes, as well as to the many health care providers at the Scarborough Health Network for their dedication.
