An unveiling will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Pardes Shalom Cemetery, 10953 Dufferin St., Vaughan in Community 5E. The unveiling will be live-streamed and can be viewed directly via https://smclive.ca/.

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Edward Elliott Meltz. He left us peacefully at Baycrest, after battling for several months with complications due to chronic kidney disease. He was the devoted husband of the late Rena Meltz (nee Nitkin), a proud and loving father to his sons Carey Russell Meltz and Bradley Stephen Meltz, son-in-law Luc Carriere, and grandson Jonah Raymond Meltz. Cherished by his sister Naomi Winkler, nephew Darren Winkler and nieces Lisa and Shelby Winkler; beloved by his sister-in-law Judi Schade and dear cousins Harvey and Adena Glasner. He was a friend, a true gentleman and highly respected by everyone who touched his life, especially Paul and Monique Glober. He will be remembered for his gentle strength and wisdom, his generosity and big heart, his sense of humour and the way his face lit up around the people he loved.
