Beryl is survived by her older sister Jean; her children, Simon (Vicki), Andrea (Glen), and Adam (Michel); her grandchildren Alexandra (Nick), Ross, Jamie, Aidan, Kiera, and Mason; and her great-granddaughter Grace. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Beryl was a pillar of strength and love in her family, and her impact extended far beyond her immediate relatives. She remained an active and loved community member well into her later years through her dedicated work as an elementary school volunteer. Her commitment to nurturing and supporting young minds left an indelible mark on the community, and her legacy will continue to inspire future generations.

Even as she battled dementia, Beryl’s joy, humor, and kindness continued to touch the hearts of everyone around her. Her infectious laughter and bright nature brought light to those around her, and she embodied a maternal role to everyone she cared for, even when she could no longer care for herself. Beryl’s gentleness and love extended to all living creatures, and there was no dog or baby that she did not light up at the sight of. Her compassion and warmth were evident in every interaction, and she had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel loved and valued.

Beryl was a beautiful woman, inside and out, and she was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her absence will be deeply felt, but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.

The family extends their utmost gratitude to all the nurses and support workers at Extendicare Bayview, the nursing home in which Beryl resided for the past five years. Their dedication and care provided comfort and support during Beryl’s final years, and their kindness will always be remembered.

Beryl’s memory will be cherished and honored by all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she loved. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and light she brought to the world.
