It is with heavy hearts we are saddened to share the passing of Shirley Hoffman, who left us on January 27, 2025.
Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who loved her family deeply and always put their needs before her own. For 70 years, she lovingly cared for her husband Al, standing by his side with unwavering devotion, strength, and tenderness.
Shirley was known for her wonderful sense of humour and her selfless nature. She had a way of making those around her feel comfortable, supported and loved. She embraced life fully and found great joy in traveling, especially to Israel, and visiting many beautiful places around the world creating lasting memories along the way.
From a young age she had a deep appreciation for art and music, and she especially cherished her time spent with her family—whether enjoying outings together, sharing laughter or spending time in Florida and summer getaways to Collingwood, places that brought her some of her most treasured moments.
Shirley is lovingly missed by her children Elaine, Irwin, and Danny, her grandchildren Ben, Sarah, Adam, and Mia and all her family and friends around the world.
We would especially like to thank her caregivers Angel, Evelyn, Airene and Mel for taking such wonderful care of her.
Shirley’s love, warmth and spirit will live on in all who were fortunate enough to know her.
