After a long struggle with illness, we are saddened to announce the passing of Haviva (Viva) Achtman on Saturday, February 21, 2026. Beloved wife of Abraham for 64 years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Rachel (Rob) and Sharon (John). Adored grandmother of Isabella.

Viva was an incredibly helpful, friendly, and warm person. She loved spending time in her garden, at the theatre, and travelling around the world. She cherished her over 40 years spent as a Medical Librarian at Toronto General Hospital, making many great friends along the way.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
