It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Irene Shears on April 18th, 2026. Irene was born in Montreal to parents Rose and Willam Beer. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and beloved by a wide circle of friends both lifelong and new. Following a career at Deloitte Touche, Irene spent time in Florida with husband Max. She loved to play Mahj, to bowl, play golf, and was a prolific crochet/knitter.
Irene will be deeply missed by son Joel Shears (Sheryl), daughter Melanie Roseveare (John), grandchildren Melissa (Andrew) and Stacy. She is survived by her sister Jean Weiser (Gerry).
