Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Friend

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Beatrice Barzilai on Friday, May 22, 2026.

Beatrice was the devoted and loving wife of the late Ezra Barzilai.

She is survived by her beloved daughters: Anita Goldman (Rami) and Doreen Barzilai (Erik Marx); her cherished grandchildren: Jacob Goldman (Johanna Busch), Arielle Goldman (Ephraim Rothschild), and Joshua Goldman; and her precious great-grandson, Ezra Goldman.

Beatrice lived a life of grace, generosity, kindness, and quiet strength. Her home was always open, her table always full, and her heart always wider still. Those who knew her were touched by her warmth, her wisdom, and her enduring spirit.

She was also blessed with extraordinary lifelong friendships. The remarkable women who stood beside her through every stage of life brought her immense joy, laughter, comfort, and companionship, and their love and support remained constant through to her final days.

She is mourned deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and she will be forever held in the hearts of her family.
