BLAFF, Herbert – It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Herbert “Heshy” Blaff, beloved husband, father, Zaidy, great-Zaidy, and patriarch of our family, who passed away at the age of 92.

Heshy is survived by his beloved wife Marilyn; his children, Jackie, Jay and Ann (David), and Eva and Jeff (Nemers); his cherished grandchildren, Harris, Arielle, Harlan and Jessica, Ari and Lidor, Max, Daniel and Carly, Reuben, Baily and Malorie, Noah and Michal, Jesse and Payton; and his adored great-grandchildren, Lizzie, Hayden, Tori, and Morgan. Together, they were the center of his world and the greatest source of his pride and joy. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Zan and Sylvia Stern; his sister-in-law, Rose Weisbrot; and his many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Eva and Hyman Blaff; his sister, Charlotte Ben Dayan, and brother-in-law, Morris Ben Dayan; and his brother-in-law, Al Weisbrot.

Heshy lived a long and meaningful life, defined by his devotion to family, his warmth, and the love and guidance he shared with those around him. Above all, he was a devoted and loving husband to Marilyn. Together they shared 67 years of marriage, partnership, and unwavering commitment, building a family whose bonds reflect the values he cherished throughout his life. Family was always at the heart of Heshy’s life, and nothing brought him greater happiness than seeing his family grow and flourish. His wisdom, kindness, strength, generosity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the family he loved so dearly, and he will be greatly missed. May his memory be a blessing.
