It is with profound sadness, that we announce the passing of Lorraine Flax, nee Hesselson, on June 26, 2026,
Lorraine will be remembered for her lively personality and a sharp sense of humour. She loved to travel and experience different places, and she brought a strong curiosity about the world. She spoke several languages and had a genuine talent for trivia and general knowledge.
Lorraine is survived by her husband, Sidney Flax and daughter Nicole Flax; her brother, Jeffrey Hesselson; her sister Beverley Levine and their families.
Her absence is profound, but so is the memory of her intelligence, her humour, and the distinct way she moved through the world.
