With profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Lucette Schindler on Thursday, July 9, 2026.

Beloved wife and soul mate of the late Henri Schindler, together for over 55 years.

Lucette will forever be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her daughters and sons-in-law Patti and Brahm Taveroff, Monelle Mendelson and Garth Juriansz.

Cherished Nona of Adine and Ron Binder, Elana and Matt Grinstein, Lisa Mendelson and Erica Smith, and adored great grandmother to Braydon, Rylan, Tia, Tristyn, Tasia, Noah, Daryn, Emmy, Jake, Riley and Logan, and great great-grandmother to Kairo .

The family feels a deep sense of gratitude knowing that Lucette led a life well lived. Sincere thanks to the wonderful and devoted staff at VIVA Thornhill Woods Retirement Community.
